Garbage & Solid Waste

Blount County is currently contracted with Republic Services for residential and Santek for commercial solid waste pickup services. The contracted rates for residents and businesses can be viewed on pages 10 and 11 of the contract, at the following link:

Residents and businesses may call Republic Services to request contracted rates for Blount County, if these rates are not currently being charged.

Residents within municipal limits may receive better pricing through a municipal contract, depending whether the city or town has contracted similar services. Otherwise, the county rate may be used if requested of the service provider.
